Privacy notice
Data controllers
Hallerts Sportpferdezucht GmbH, Niebuhrstraße 69, 10629 Berlin, and Sieberthof Pferdezucht GbR, Kuhanger 7, 37632 Eschershausen. Details of the authorised representatives and how to contact them are provided in the legal notice.
Website operation
When you visit this website, technical connection data necessary to deliver and protect it are processed. These may include your IP address, access time, requested address and browser information. The website is provided through OpenAI Sites and the Cloudflare infrastructure used by the platform. This processing is necessary to operate the website securely and reliably (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use advertising trackers or our own visitor statistics.
Protected access and administration
The public pages can be visited without signing in. The protected administration area uses the ChatGPT sign-in provided by OpenAI. The authorised administrator is recognised through a site-specific user identifier. This identifier and modification timestamps are stored to secure and attribute changes.
Photographs and published content
The administrator can save text and images for the website. Published content is displayed to authorised visitors. Drafts and uploaded images that have not yet been published are accessible only to the administrator. Uploaded images are stored in object storage; text and image associations are stored in a database. Content is retained for as long as it is needed to operate the website.
Contact form
The contact details and message entered in the form are used to handle your enquiry and sent by email to the Sieberthof recipients responsible for enquiries. The legal basis depends on the enquiry: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual enquiries, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for answering your message. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a newsletter or trigger an automatic reply.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to detect automated requests and Resend to deliver email. A technically necessary session code valid for no more than 15 minutes is used to secure form submissions. Time-limited, cryptographically protected counters are used to prevent abuse. Message content and plain-text IP or email addresses are not stored in this counter database.
Cookie settings and image preferences
Through “Cookie settings” in the footer you can allow or reject optional features and change your choice at any time, with effect for future use. Optional categories remain disabled without consent. Your choice is stored with a timestamp in local browser storage for a maximum of 183 days so that we can respect your preferences. The setting applies to this browser; if the browser blocks storage, it applies only to the current page.
If you consent to “Remember image preferences”, we store the last homepage portrait shown in local browser storage so that a different horse appears on your next visit. This stored preference is deleted if you decline or withdraw consent. Optional storage is based on your consent under section 25(1) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Google Maps and Instagram
The map on the contact page is embedded only after you consent to “Google Maps” and click “Load map”. In particular, your IP address and browser information may then be sent to Google. Withdrawing consent through the cookie settings removes a loaded map. Withdrawing consent does not reverse any transfer of data that has already taken place. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Our server retrieves the recent reels available from @sieberthof. Preview images and videos are delivered through the website; a video starts after your click. No Instagram player or Instagram script is embedded in your browser. Clicking “Open on Instagram” takes you away from this website, and Instagram/Meta's privacy terms apply.
Recipients and processing outside the EU
Depending on the service used, data may also be processed outside the European Union. Information about the respective recipients and transfer mechanisms is available in the privacy notices of OpenAI, Cloudflare, Google, Meta and Resend.
Your rights
Within the scope of applicable law, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. You may withdraw consent with effect for the future. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, please contact the controllers named in the legal notice.
