Kimara SN

Kimara SN is a bright, talented filly with plenty of presence and a pedigree that makes her future an exciting prospect. This dark bay daughter of Kool Blue, out of One and only by Constanzehof’s Barcley, brings together some outstanding international jumping bloodlines. We see her as a promising young mare for sport and, in time, for our breeding programme.

Kannan and Chacco-Blue: world-class sires on the paternal side

Her sire Kool Blue was first reserve champion at the 2023 Mecklenburg licensing. At his 50-day performance test in Neustadt/Dosse in 2024, he achieved a weighted jumping final score of 8.46, with 9.0 for willingness to perform. By Kannan out of a Chacco-Blue mare, he combines two of the most influential jumping sires of our time.

Kannan sired Nino des Buissonnets, who won individual Olympic gold with Steve Guerdat at London 2012. Chacco-Blue’s son Explosion W took individual Olympic gold with Ben Maher in Tokyo in 2021. Their influence as sires is equally striking: Kannan and Chacco-Blue finished second and third respectively in the 2025 WBFSH jumping sire rankings.

Olympic gold on the maternal side, too

Through her dam One and only, Kimara SN carries the blood of Constanzehof’s Barcley, a son of Baloubet du Rouet out of a Clearway mare. Baloubet du Rouet made sporting history with Rodrigo Pessoa: three consecutive World Cup Final victories from 1998 to 2000 were followed by individual Olympic gold at Athens 2004. His first place in the 2012 WBFSH jumping sire rankings also reflects his importance in breeding.

The dam line continues through Cira Briosa by Quintero out of Perleen by Ramirado, adding Holsteiner jumping blood to these outstanding French-influenced lines. Kimara’s pedigree combines sporting excellence with generations of successful sires.
