Seeperle

Seeperle: Trakehner elegance from a proven family

Seeperle brings together two bloodlines we particularly value in Trakehner breeding: elite stallion Rheinklang on the sire side and elite mare Seeconda as her dam. Born on 6 June 2017, the bay mare stands 165 cm. She has the refined type and balanced, rhythmic movement we value in a Trakehner mare.

At Sieberthof, she, Seaflower and Special Emotion represent three daughters of the same important dam. Each brings a different paternal line. For Seeperle it is the Gribaldi–Partout combination that adds her own dressage-oriented dimension to the Seeconda family. She is also part of a breeding legacy for us: Sabine Oberdieck's work lives on in these three sisters.

Rheinklang: a sire with outstanding daughters

Seeperle's sire Rheinklang was born in 2002 and licensed in Neumünster in 2004. He was by Gribaldi out of the state and studbook premium mare Rheinnau by Partout. Both names lead to stallions that proved themselves in international Grand Prix sport.

Rheinklang earned placings in dressage classes up to M**. His greatest recognition came as a sire: in 2016 the Trakehner Verband awarded him elite status. Its 2024 obituary records 174 Trakehner foals, licensed sons Hatton Cross and Zauberreigen, and 53 registered daughters. These include 14 premium mares and a further 18 state and studbook premium mares. These figures help explain why Rheinklang is especially valued through his daughters.

A dam line proven in competition

Seeperle's dam Seeconda received elite status for her offspring. Her daughter Standing Ovation TSF by Imperio, Seeperle's maternal half-sister, was champion mare in Lower Saxony and later successful up to Grand Prix. Schwarzgold, also by Imperio out of Seeconda, combines wins in advanced dressage with an important career as a sire.

Other successful half-siblings include Sir Arthur TSF by Buddenbrock. He was already successful in S-level dressage at seven and won the Hesse Professional Riders' Championship in 2011. Seeperle's younger half-sister Special Emotion added to the family record as reserve champion at the 2022 Lower Saxony–Hanover Central Mare Registration.

The direct dam line traces through Consul and Seeadler to Thoroughbred mare Cresta Star xx by Andalusier xx. It connects this family's close sporting successes with an individual Trakehner breeding history maintained over generations.

Three daughters continue the story

Seeperle has produced three daughters herself: Seekrone by Kronberg, born 2021; Sopianae by Imperio, born 2023; and S'Perata by Escolar, born 2025. Each mating brings a different influence while preserving Seeconda's direct female line. This sequence of dam, daughter and granddaughters beautifully illustrates how a successful mare family creates its own next generation at Sieberthof.
