Weihdiamond

Two great dressage stories in one pedigree

Weihdiamond brings together names known far beyond breeding: Totilas and Weihegold OLD. Born on 1 April 2022, the chestnut Oldenburg mare is by Total Diamond PS out of Weihcine by Fürst Heinrich. Weihegold OLD is therefore her granddam in the direct female line. At Sieberthof, Weihdiamond belongs to the young generation of our broodmares.

These famous performers appear close up in her pedigree. Their careers span the Bundeschampionat, World Championships and Olympic Games, giving her ancestry a remarkable record of dressage achievement.

Her own performance and award

Weihdiamond successfully completed her mare performance test in 2025 with the score required for the main premium. With her foal registered with the Oldenburg studbook, she holds the title of Oldenburg Main Premium Mare.

Total Diamond PS: Totilas meets Special Diva OLD

Sire Total Diamond PS is by Totilas out of Special Diva OLD by Sir Donnerhall I. His dam won the three-year-old riding horse Bundeschampionat in 2014. Total Diamond PS achieved a dressage average of 8.05 in his performance test at Schlieckau and received the Oldenburg Ib main premium in 2023. Alongside a stallion's own test performance, this honour considers the quality of his first foal crop.

His sire Totilas made history with Edward Gal in 2010: at the World Equestrian Games in Lexington they won three gold medals, with the Dutch team, in the Grand Prix Special and in the freestyle. Totilas is Weihdiamond's paternal grandsire.

Weihcine and Weihegold OLD: the direct dam line

Weihdiamond's dam Weihcine combines Fürst Heinrich with Weihegold OLD. Fürst Heinrich won his 30-day test in 2001, became Oldenburg main premium winner in 2002 and became World Champion of five-year-old dressage horses in Verden in 2003.

Granddam Weihegold OLD won team gold and individual silver with Isabell Werth at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Three consecutive World Cup Final victories followed: Omaha in 2017, Paris in 2018 and Gothenburg in 2019. At the 2017 European Championships in Gothenburg she also won team gold, Grand Prix Special gold and freestyle gold. These results illustrate why Weihdiamond's dam family is so interesting for dressage breeding.

Empire of Diamonds SH: the family continues

Weihdiamond's son Empire of Diamonds SH was born at Sieberthof on 13 April 2026. His sire is Everglow Gold. The chestnut colt carries Weihegold OLD in his pedigree through both parents: maternally through Weihdiamond and Weihcine, and paternally through Everglow Gold's dam Weihe’s Hope. He is the latest generation of this special family at Sieberthof.
